The band finished the season with another disappointing result at the Cowal Games in Dunoon. Again, both pipers and drummers felt they had had a 'good run' but were placed last in piping and 14th out of 18 in drumming. After a break of a few weeks, it will be back to practising for the 2006 season.

Once again the band did not take it's performance 'outside' 'into the ring' at the Ulster Championships in Portrush on Saturday and finished out of the prizes. The year's final 'outing' will be the Cowal Games at Dunoon next Saturday and then it's back to the drawing board for 2006. The Ulster results are now on the Results Page.

The band were disappointed with their result at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow yesterday. The pipers felt that they had a reasonably good perormance, but were placed 3rd from last. The drum corps fared a little better - finishing 16th of the 31 bands who competed in the Grade 2 competition.

The band had a reasonably good performance at Moira today in the City of Lisburn Championships and finished just out of the prizes in 5th place. Full results are now on the Results Page.

A poor performance today in Bangor left the band in last place in Grade 2 at the North Down Championships. Although the band were 'going well' outside, they could not take their performance 'into the ring'.

The band were disappointed with their low placing today at the All-Ireland Championships in Newcastle after what both pipers and drummers thought was a reasonably good performance. Full results are now on the Results Page.

The band had an average performance in Banbridge today at the European Championships and finished well down 'the field'. The drummers finished in a creditable 10th place out of the 25 bands who entered the grade.Full results from all grades are now on the 2005 Results Page.

The pipers had another excellent performance today at Castle Ward in the Co.Down Championships. The pipers were placed 2nd and the band finished in 4th place overall. Full results are now on the Results Page.

After what was felt to be an excellent performance by both pipers and drummers in Cookstown on Saturday, the band were disappointed and indeed shocked to be placed last in both disciplines. Results are now on the Results Page.

The band produced one of it's best performances since entering Grade 2 and were rewarded with a 2nd place finish, beaten only by the current Scottish Champions - Ravara. Full results from Broughshane are now on the Results Page.

The band had a below average performance today in Enniskillen. The cold,wet and windy weather made life difficult for all the bands. Although there were no prizes for the music, the band did win the 'Marching and Deportment' prize in Grade 2. Full results are now on the Results Page.

A poor performance at the Scottish Championships in Dumbarton yesterday left the band nearer last than first of the 22 bands competing in Grade 2. The drummers however felt they deserved better than the 13th place awarded by the drumming judge. Full results are now on the Results page.

The band had it's first outing yesterday at Malahide. A nervy performance left us in 6th place overall. The drummers however had a reasonably good 'run' and finished 3rd in drumming, beaten only by Cullybackey and Ravara.

Due to our `sporty' drum corps, the band had no option but to withdraw from the Banbridge Full Band Indoor competition. Two drummers were playing hockey and a third was in the Ulster Rugby squad. Full results from the contest are now on the 2005 Results page.

After the successful 80th Anniversary Concert, the band is now 'knuckling down' to the last few weeks practice before it's first contest - Banbridge Indoor on 30th April.
